Primary research areas

Temporal dynamic of visual attention.

Studies of the time course of visual attention have identified a temporary functional blindness to the second of two spatially separated stimuli. This phenomenon is known as the attentional dwell time. By using Bundensen's Theory of Visual Attention (TVA), a mathematical model has been developed to account for this phenomenon and give more insight into the temporal dynamic of visual attention.
